Day 1 and heading to Interlaken. A quick stop over for a coffee in Lucern and cycling alongside Pilatus. Then off to tackle the Brunig pass. I've driven up this so many times and always wanted to cycle it - today's the day.
Mini tour of Switzerland
Planning a three day trip to explore central Switzerland. Looking forward to being back on the bike tomorrow and to meeting some cool bike people via warmshowers.org.

Heading back to Switzerland
Had my first night as a warmshowers.org guest last night. Karen and her family were amazing. Met me at the train station after my bike ride, took me to her home, ran me a lovely bubble bath, cooked me bangers and mash (with yummy gravy), made me lots of cups of tea and generally just …
Sportive #3 – Ride London
So it's the big one. Weekend in London to ride the London/Surrey 100 mile sportive on Sunday. Enjoying the expo, spending time with two of my beautiful God-daughters, being in London Town and the beautiful Surrey countryside. So finishing time on the Garmin says 6.07:55, official time over an hour slower due to some serious accidents.
A break from cycling – walking the Pembrokeshire Way
So decided to take a break from cycling for a few days and walk part of the Pembrokeshire Way. In typical British fashion, it's raining, but it wont dampen our spirits. The coastline still looks amazing. Four days of walking the Pembrokeshire way with my good friend Emma.
Sportive #2 – Malvern Mad Hatter
All ready for today's 75 mile sportive. The sun is shining...possibly too much?!? Just waiting for my partner in crime, Sean Underwood to arrive. Really excited to be part of his journey. If you want to be truly inspired then read his story: https://undiesjourney.wordpress.com
Donations still coming in
2 1/2 weeks after completing this incredible journey and donations are still coming in. I can't thank people enough for their generosity and kind words. I'm constantly bowled over to know that this adventure has inspired people to dust off their bikes, grab their running shoes or do their own crazy challenge to help someone. …
First sportive completed
First sportive of the summer completed. Pretty pleased with 60 miles under 4 hours. Stats of today's ride. Some big hills but one awesome decent-went over 40mph need some bigger …
morning ride around Mortimors Cross
Beautiful Ludlow castle seen on this mornings hilly ride through Mortimer countryside. One of my favourite places in the world. If you've never been put it on Your list, especially over the food festival in September.
